Andre LeNier Jones was born on February 17, 1966, to Bobbie Fitzgerald and Ottis Jones in Chicago, Illinois. He accepted Christ into his life on November 9, 2025, embracing a renewed faith that brought him peace and strength in his final days. Andre graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1984 and continued his education at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. In 1985, he met the love of his life, Wendolyn. Together, they built a beautiful 38-year journey filled with devotion, laughter, and unwavering commitment. Their union was blessed with four sons—Marquez, Deandre, Camrone, and Ryan—and seven beloved grandchildren: LaShanna, Marquez, Dasen, Kourtlyn, Stori, Roman, and Kai. Andre followed his dream of becoming a truck driver and traveled across the United States. He retired in 2021 after many years of dedicated service. Above all, Andre was a devoted husband, son, father, and grandfather whose loyalty and warmth touched everyone he met. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Bobbie; his devoted wife, Wendolyn; his four sons; his seven grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Andre’s life was a testament to love, perseverance, and faith. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

ANDRE’S POEM
You traveled roads that stretched for miles, Across the states, through day and night. A dreamer with a steady heart, A soul guided by quiet light. You loved with strength, you lived with grace, A husband faithful, steady, true. A father proud of every child, A man who gave his best to you. You carried joy in simple ways, A laugh, a glance, a gentle word. And when God called you to His peace, Your final prayer was surely heard. Though you are gone from earthly view, Your love remains; it does not cease. In every heart you touched, you left A legacy of faith and peace. Rest now, Andre—your race is run, Your journey home has just begun.
